Merchandise
We are excited to offer our Macarthur Zone School Sport merchandise, featuring a unique design by local Aboriginal artist Michael Fardon, a proud Dharawal man based in Campbelltown. This artwork celebrates the Macarthur region and the strong connections between our eight partner schools.
At the heart of the design are interconnected journey lines, symbolising the unity and shared educational journey of our school communities. The repeating sequence 4 ‘U’ shapes (the Aboriginal symbol for person) depict students participating in races and competitions, striving for excellence. Achieving first, second or third place signifies success, while fourth place embodies the determination to improve and persevere.
Lyrebird tracks are also featured, paying homage to the Dharawal Country on which we learn and grow. The lyrebird, a totem of the Dharawal people, is a symbol of peace and reconciliation.
This collaboration with Michael Fardon not only enhances our Zone’s identity, but also deepens our connection to the land and its rich cultural heritage.
